Tufts Policies

Tufts’ policies concerning sexual assault, sexual harassment, and other sexual misconduct issues are coordinated through the Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO). The OEO offers its key documents here. The Sexual Misconduct Policy (embedded below) gives policy definitions of sexual assault, sexual expolitation, sexual harassment, sex and/or gender discrimination, gender-based stalking, and gender-based relationship violence. The Sexual Misconduct Adjudication Process describes the special fact-finding process that occurs in cases of sexual misconduct, and is summarized in a flowchart embedded below.

The full Adjudication Process can be accessed here through the Office of Judicial Affairs (OJA). A recent change in the appeals process passed by the Committee on Student Life has yet to be reflected in the latest document from OJA.
